I would perhaps describe myself as a redneck-hippie abstract intellectual. I love conversing and learning about the deep and meaningful questions of the universe and the human condition. I an interested in philosophy, science, history, language, literature and the arts. I also delight in various faucets of popular culture.
Philosophically I lean toward stoicism and humanism. I used to be quite interested in and motivated by politics. Yet for at least a half decade or more I have become quite cynical and disillusioned by most of this realm. I love music of depth and quality from a wide variety of genres. Some of my favourites include indie/folk rock, EDM, certain(mostly old school)rap/hip-hop, classic rock, some country and various eclectic outliers.
I am divorced with no children, though my ex and I are still friends. I have three brothers, and am the eldest child.
