(How To) Own The Cherry Inferno Achievement™ |
---|
Please Note: GODMODES WILL NOT WORK FOR THE CHERRY INFERNO ACHIEVEMENT! Read below to Kick The Cherry Inferno Achievement In The Face. First I will give a little run down of how another member had failed over & over & over again. This member stated they had wasted nearly 6 hours of their precious time trying to get the achievement only to utterly fail every time. For those who are using Internet Explorer(any version)? You have already failed the Inferno Achievement.. Do not under any circumstances use Internet Explorer, instead Download Chrome, Firefox or Opera for best results. Most Common User Error The first thing you would think to do is:
Without giving it much thought.. This sounds like the most common logical thing to do... Right??? Answer: WRONG!! Also we all do it (have millions of browser tabs open ready to bomb (whether it be Friends, Family, etc...). That is the worst idea that you or any member could ever do.. The best thing to do is to load up 4 tabs at anytime one time. If you load anymore than this, your browser will lag at some point, and cost you the much needed seconds it takes to get the achievement. Every time you bomb an album with a bunch of active tabs open, your browser tends to offload each image (on each tab) into a cache folder (for better loading when or if you decide to return) and this in turn puts a strain on your CPU or even your computers Memory (even if its new or old) and will ultimately cause your browser to either Freeze or Stall(Not Respond). Also Note: When you see that Bombing Folder message you do not want to see it for any longer then a milisecond. Any second longer than that and your time will be all out of wack. The member who helped me with this blog had help from a few members who successfuly acquired the Inferno Achievement over a two week period and finally got the guts to try again while he was at work (bored I guess) of all places and guess what? He finally achieved what he sought out for on his first try... How It Can Be Achieved First thing you want to do is Prepare for the inferno... Next, Clean your browsers cookies and cache by following my (How To) Clean_Cookies & Cache blog, Next, switch your Homepage to the fSB layout, Next, go back into your settings and click on IGNORE PROFILE SKINS! (skins will make you lag), While in your settings also turn off the shoutbox, the header and profile sounds. (Turning everything off reduces the risk of the browser lagging and unwanted attention). Best thing you can do is tell all your stalkers to simmer down for an hour). Next, go into your Blings Page (By Clicking The Link). You will see your shiny Cherry Bomb waiting to to be activated! DO NOT ACTIVATE IT YET!!! Before you activate it you will need to open a New Tab and go to the Top Members Page. This way. You can keep track of how many you have bombed and who you have bombed. At this point. You should only have 2 Tabs open on your browser. But what if I have more then 2? Well.. Close all the other tabs till there is the two mentioned above!! Depending on what browser you chose you will now need to right click on #1 (on the Top Members page). Which is usually MissBehayvn and Click on Open In New Tab Now you should have 3 tabs open and your saying Now Everything Is Set!! Answer: Not yet, You will still need two more tools. First pull out a Stop Watch!!! (either a watch or cellphone will suffice). Optional Note: Load an hour of your favorite music and get ready. :) Ready, Set..... These next steps are crucial First thing you'll wanna do is make sure you have your Stopwatch ready and in one hand. Next, Make sure you're in your first folder to bomb. Please Note: In order to keep good time. You will have to time this perfectly. If you don't. No big deal. Just be hyper quick!! Now you can Activate your CherryBomb, but once you do go to your next tab SUPER FAST!! Hit the Refresh button (or hit F5 on your keyboard). So you'll get the Bomb Folder option. When you click on Bomb Folder... Make sure you click Start on your Stopwatch at the same time. This will be your first folder Bombed. Make sure you do all these steps fast! Because this is whats going to set the pace for the next hour. Since you just Bombed your first folder you are now on your way to Kick The Inferno Achievement In Its Face. Close MissBehayvn's tab and you should now be back at the tab that has the Top OverAll Members. Right click on #2 and click Open In New Tab (Just like you did for the first folder), right click on #3 and click Open In New Tab finally right click on #4 and click Open In New Tab. After this DO NOT OPEN ANYMORE TABS (until ready)!!!!! On your first tab (#2 Top Member) go into the photo albums right away. Keep a keen eye on your timer in your other hand. When that timer hits 30 Seconds.. Click Bomb Folder!! Close that tab and move on to the next tab(#3 Top Member). Make sure to always watch your timer.. When it hits 1 Minute, Click Bomb Folder!! Close that tab and move on to the next tab(#4 Top Member). When your timer hits 1 Minute 30 Seconds, Click Bomb Folder!! At this point you should see a pattern emerge. Make sure to keep this pace and you'll be golden. But there is always a risk of getting Off Tempo and you will mess up at least twice during the process. This happens to be No Big Deal. All you need to do to get back on track is to follow your Stopwatch (ex. If you accidently click Bomb Folder at say 1 Minute 4 Seconds, don't fret just wait till your Stopwatch says 1 Minute 34 Seconds and follow this pace all the way through). At any point and time Do Not Reset Your Timer. Just watch it carefully when you click Bomb Folder. If you accidently clicked Bomb Folder when your timer said 1 Minute 7 Seconds. Well the next time you should click on Bomb Folder, your timer should read 1 Minute 37 Seconds. The bombing process is always 30 Seconds from whatever your timer says when you clicked on the last Bomb Folder link. Dually Note: IF YOU DO THIS CORRECTLY. YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO HIT REFRESH ON A BOMB FOLDER. This might seem hard or confusing the first go around, but once you figure it out you'll see it's pretty simple As mentioned the most important tool will be your Stopwatch or Time Intervals(for those that can remember time). Without these you will not get the achievement and only get more and more frustrated I hope this has helped give some insight to those who are struggling with attaining the achievement. Happy Inferno Owning!! :) By The Way Some people have been saying that the math doesn't add up and its totally impossible to achieve. The bomb runs in 30 second intervals, so thats 2 for every 1 minute, The bomb last for 1 hour, thats equivalent to 60 minutes, So the simple math to this is 2 times 60 equals 120 Albums Bombed All that is needed is 116 Albums If you have any further questions about how this achievement can be attained |

(How To) Fubar's Golden Rules™ |
---|
There are alot of different factors when it comes to the General Rules of Fubar, but it seems not alot of them are of Public Knowledge or are not typically located anywhere on the site. This blog will try and put some of this knowledge out for everyone to view so they can at least have some light shed on them and they'll also learn abut the potential Dangers they face should they break the rules set forth. This blog will explain the following Rules: Introduction Every society has a set of rules they have to adhere to or they face a certain type of punishment. These rules can differ depending on where you are located on the site and what is going on at the time of the incident. Each member of Fubar is advised to what they can and cannot due based upon what is stated in the Terms Of Service (TOS for short). These terms are located at the bottom of every Fubar webpage or they are given by link by a particular staff member of the Fubar Community. Login Information On every site there is generally a Login Area (or a Sign-Up Area) that a person must use to gain access to the websites more privatized data. When creating these accounts it is you The User who generally does the Sign-Up Process (exceptions are generally when a young person is creating an account for an older person generally their grand-parents or non-tech savey parents). Once the account is created though that account now becomes the sole possession of the member who will be behind it and the only one who should access it is the said person. DO NOT GIVE ANYONE ACESSS TO YOUR ACCOUNT! This means DO NOT give anyone one your login info, password, etc. If you do, you are asking for trouble. DO NOT GIVE ANYONE YOUR PASSWORD OR LOG IN! You are the ONLY one that should access your account. This is in Fubar's Terms Of Service and is for your benefit. If you allow access to your account you open yourself to the following Dangers: - Account Loss We as Fubar Bouncers hear and see many different stories that you The Member give us. Each member has a different excuse on why they let others access their account (some of what is stated will be below). That member you were fuengaged to who bombed for you while you were at work. If they have a boyfriend or girlfriend (other than yourself) they may have your profile up after a long night giving their significant other access to the account. This may make them become jealous because your prettier than that person is and can cause a war to stir. Once this war has began it may lead to the afformentioned dangers listed above. You decided you want to make a few extra points and let some fu-cheater log into your account to work whatever magic they are selling. They log in and lock you out and change all your profile information. They use up all your Special Ability blings then start opening your personal photos that you were selling more public than it should be or they use your personal photos to create false accounts. Usually you'll come crying (on a new account) stating you were hacked. But remember this section when it comes to it there is a difference. You innocently give some member your login because they state they are gonna spruce up your profile. But when they get access they become not as nice as you thought, and they lock you out then begins to use your profile to pimp their friends. You then mistakenly have your paypal account hidden on your profile (all be it in your photos area as a screenshot)and they start buying up bling and gifting babyjesus fuponies. Again you come crying to support claiming you were hacked by someone you thought ypu could trust. Luckily babyj is NOT stupid. He knows fuponies don't grow on trees. There are many other excuses that are given but the Golden Rule is as follows: Don't Give Out Your Personal Information Buisness Information This section is mentioned in the Terms Of Service which states the following
What this basically means is unless you have permission by Fubar Admin no one is allowed to sell anything on Fubar.com. Don't get anything mixed up with dealing of a fubar nature (ie. auctions, member ran sanctions or the like). This refers to Real Cash situations (ie. Paypal Donations, CSS Coding For Hire etc...) that involves both parties agreeing to a copius amount of payment to render services pertaining to what they two parties are talking about. However this section does not include fuPal Transactions, Bling Credit Transactions or anything that deals with fuBucks. This portion is solely up to both parties on what type of payment can be perceived. Most of this refers to what was mentioned above (that being Auctions, Member Ran Sanctions or anything related to the matter). If you do not wish to pay any member that will be solely the pertaining members decision. The only thing we ask is Please Do Not Come Crying to Admin or Bouncers about how a member didn't want to pay up their dividend. We will give you the phrase we always give (that being to read the ,Terms Of Service and to block the member, but never trust them in future Auctions or Contest). If you have any questions about this section Please Feel Free To Private Message A Fubar Bouncer And They'll Help You To The Best Of Their Abilities. Posting Things On Fubar We all like to post different things Online (whether it be Photos, Blogs, Personal Information etc...) so we can share it with friends or family. This portion of the blog will discuss two of the major things we as Fubar Bouncers deal with on a daily basis. The two areas that will be discussed will be: Posting Photos Most of us like to take photos (whether it be a Regular Photo or a Selfie) and we like to post them to our various website (either by Page Upload or by Mobile Upload). Each photo that is captured with a camera is given a Date or Timestamp anything else has to be placed by the member. Generally meaning if you want a Copyright or Watermark on any of your photos they have to be placed there by you. Once you post a photo on a website (whether it be Fubar, Facebook or Twitter) then that photo will generally fall under that websites Terms Of Service (if they have anything in place). If you happen to come across an image that looks like you or has been uploaded by you then the best place to start is that websites Terms Of Service page or by messaging their Support Profile (or in Fubar's case go into the Support Lounge first). The main problem we run into is the fact that the images are not Copyrighted so we as Support Staff can't really do anything but tell you to read the section in the Fubar Bible that is based on Fubar's Digital Millinnium Copyright Act or DMCA for short. For a full view of the Wikipedia section that gives information about a Copyrighted Image click this link (Digital Millinnium Copyright Act). The second problem we have is members who like to Share Their Photos with other members. When a member uploads their photos they are given the ability to share those images with other members on their Friends List or their Family List. There is also outsourced links that share that photo on other websites (like Facebook and Twitter). This also leads to members saving the image by Right Clicking on their mouse and then uploading the image to their photos leading to the problem that was spoken of above. Any further questions you may have about any photo can be directed to a Fubar Bouncer or by asking a question in the Fubar Support Lounge. Posting Personal Information Every person who has an online account (whether it be with Fubar or any other Online Website) we post information that is shared with other members on that particular website (or on some websites they share it with other websites). This information is known primarily as Personal Information and there are different types of information a member can share. Some of the information we share is:
Each of the information listed above has different meanings and can be attributed by what is given. The problem with some of the information we give is the different attributes we mix together (examples of this would be talking to someone about information about a Family Member but mixing in some information that Family Member may not want to share with others). We all have the capacity to trust each other, but sometimes this trust can be misused and this in turn can lead to trouble in Real Life Situations or within the Online Community your associated with. The biggest thing anyone can do to avoid a bad situation is keep any information you don't want others to know to yourself or if someone tries to bring up information that should be kept Private or Sensitive tell that person can you change the subject or talk about something else.. We as a society have to choose what people should and should not know therefore choose what information you want to share with other members and be safe... If you ever have any questions about the subject Personal Information and the risk that are associated with it In Conclusion, many of the things we do on fubar is noticed (whether it be a Regular Member, a Fubar Bouncer or even Fubar Admin). Each website has their own Rules & Regulations that each member must abide by or risk losing their profile. Keep in mind though each member has a different view of what they think they can and can not do, but each website (whether it be Fubar, Facebook or Twitter) shares many of the common rules that are afformentioned on each of the websites Terms Of Service Agreements. If you have any further questions about this or any other topic that is based on this blog |

All salute submissions are reviewed by Fubar Bouncers & each image is checked thoroughly before it is either accepted or rejected. I have posted some images of Acceptable Salutes as well as some that were Rejected because the submission did not follow the salute guidelines. To find out more about adding a salute to your profile check out the blog titled (How To) Submit Salutes.
Leveling & Points Leveling: Everyone who joins Fubar begins as a Level 0 (Freshmeat) & can aquire more levels by gaining Points (which will be discussed briefly below). While Fubar is a free website there is many more benefits (ie. Happy Hours, Blasts, VIP Program etc..) to being a member of the Fubar Community. Each time you gain another level it becomes more challenging (especially when a member begins on Level 20 (Rock Star), but once a member reaches a certain level (usually level 30) that member is required to have at least one salute on their profile). Points: Points can be attained by doing various different things on Fubar (ie. Rating, Commenting etc..). With each action it may have a point behind it and each point will help a member acquire the next level on their profile. Along with points a member will also get an item known as FuBucks which will help them buy certain items around the site as well as buy items in the Fubar Gift Shop. There will be at times Fubar Promotions that will give the member an ability to gain more points to help them level faster, but as mentioned above with each level it gets more and more challenging. I am not going to go to much with this section because there is alot to talk about, but if you'd like to know more about gaining points and fubucks check out my blog titled (How To) Gain Points & FuBucks. Checking Into Lounges One of the best things to do on Fubar is check into a lounge where there will be many different people that you can interact with. Being in a lounge is more or less like being in a small community, whereas most of the staff in a lounge act as a family helping each other to level & acquire more points or FuBucks. There is differences in lounges (being different coding styles, as well as different rules and different atmospheres). It is up to you to decide which lounge you want to be apart of or if you so want at Level 10 (Friend Of Fubar) or when you can acquire $100,000 FuBucks you can create your own lounge and run it the way you want to run it. If you choose this option there is a list of Voluntary Coders that will help you make your lake look the way you want it to look like, but they may be in lounges of their own so they can't really teach you the ways on how to run a lounge. It is recommended that any new member work in a lounge before you create one From Your Homepage Locate The Main Menu When The Page Loads A List Of Fubars Hottest Lounges Will Appear From this page you can choose which lounge you want to subscribe to and become a part of their family (Due To Limitations of this blog I cannot show you how to create your very own lounge) Checking Out Fumafia fuMafia is one of Fubars most famous Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game that lets members shoot, prod and kill others in a game style setting. Each member is allowed up to 3 players (more can be purchased). With each player a member can Do Mission, Join A Turf(like a lounge), Attack A Member and Hitlist any member they choose. To better find out what fuMafia is all about the best place to begin is to check out the fuMafia Guide or you can ask a question in the Mafia Forums and the other thing you can do is ask a Mafia Bouncer (Mafia Bouncers will have Mafia in their username). To either get started playing fuMafia or to get into fuMafia follow what is below. From Your Homepage Locate The Main Menu If You Have Not Created A Mafia Player Yet Read The Blog Titled (How To) Setup fuMafia If You Have Created A Mafia Player The Page Will Load To Your Mafia Homepage From This Page You Can Do What You Usually Do While Your Playing fuMafia. (Due To Limitations of this blog I cannot show you to much about the mafia world) If you have any further questions about this or any topics based on Getting Started |

Managing Lounge Staff Moderations is an easy task. All that is required is that you know how to use the Lounges Tooltip (as shown in Figure 1-1).
|
(How To) Use Lounge Emoticons™ |
---|
Every lounge has Emoticons commonly referred to as Emotes. Emotes are used to make a comment to or about someone within a chat style setting. All that is required to use Fubars emotes is that you know how to use the Lounges Tooltip (as shown in Figure 1-1).

(How To) Coding 101™ |
---|
It has been requested that a simple blog be made on Coding and the ways it can be implemented on Fubar.com. Those that don't know what Coding is or stands for this blog will give its outline and show some examples (possibly live) on different areas of Fubar.com. Coding mainly stands for Hyper Text Markup Language (or HTML for short) and can also stand for Cascading Style Sheet (or CSS for short). Each of these elements work to keep a page stable among every browser that has either been or will ever be. There is other forms of coding but HTML and CSS are the only allowed forms on Fubar.com so this blog will only focus on these two forms. Also don't forget there is four different browser engines that have there own implementations of the code that is published (these engines being Gecko, Trident, Webkit/KHTML, Text and Presto). This blog will be in concordance with my blogs listed below: - (How To) Create Bulletins Coding With HTML Webpages Hyper Text Markup Language (or HTML for short) is mostly used to build a foundation for a website (ex. Fubar.com uses HTML to build a structure for the webpage this blog is listed on). There are different forms of HTML to which some are in the process of being published or has been published on a website named W3.org. There is also different styles HTML can be formed (many of which have just been introduced with HTML 5.0) that either replace or totally take over its older counterpart. There are many different websites that offers tutorials into HTML and how its implemented and some of these tutorials will also give live animation so you can do it yourself as you make your own HTML content. HTML Examples Some examples of what HTML will look like will be listed below with a link to a website that will allow you to test how HTML is implemented.
Here is the same example above in its coded form <div style="border: 2px solid rgb(248,248,255);"> <table align="center" style="padding: 5px; background-color: gray;"> <tr> <td style="background-color: rgb(248,248,255); border: 1px solid rgb(0,0,0);color: rgb(0,0,0);">This is an example of a table with a style</td> </tr> </table> </div> This Text Is Being Used By A Style <p style="color: rgb(0,255,0); font-size: 16pt; text-decoration: underline blink; font-family: Gabriola;">This Text Is Being Used By A Style</p> If you would like to do some test with the above content (adding your own html styles) make sure to check out HTML Dog(The HTML Portion). Coding With CSS Styles Cascading Style Sheet (or CSS for short) is what is known as the puddy that holds a structure in its place (like a brick office or nails on the walls). Basically CSS is implemented into HTML as a style (ex. <p class="example_class" style="font-size: 8pt; font-weight: bold;">) and is generated to be used with an associated class (as shown in the examples below). CSS Examples If you would like to do some test with the above content (adding your own css class & styles) make sure to check out HTML Dog(The CSS Portion). <div id='middle_header_panel' class="topheader_box_wrapper" style="display:block"> <div class='outer_wrapper clearfix'> <div style="width: 350px;" id="headerbar_feed" class="fubar_module headerbar_module feed"> <div class="header with_graphic"> <div class="wrap clearfix"> <div class="title">My Live Feed</div> <div class="options" style="position: relative; top: -5px; right: -7px;"> <a href="/bartab_filter.php?type=mini" style="color: rgb(248,248,255);">Edit</a> <a href="/myalerts.php" style="color: rgb(248,248,255);">See All</a> </div> </div> </div> <div class="body"> <div id="alert_notify" style="display:none;"></div> <div id="alert_box_scroll"> <div class="alert_row_wrapper"> <div class="alert_msg">· <a class="link_salute">Username Here ...</a> This is were notifications come in!</div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> This Text Color Is Controlled By A CSS Selector <a class="link_userbox_moderator">This Text Color Is Controlled By A CSS Selector</a> In Conclusion, both classifications need each other to keep its structure on any browser that a member may use. For those that still need answers on what HTML and CSS stands for can use any search engine they prefer (each search engine gives different results). Also there are many different websites that offer tutorials that can help members learn not only HTML and CSS but can also teach them other programs like C++, Personal Home Page (or PHP for short) and Javascript. For those that do wish to learn more about coding make sure you upgrade your computers Notepad to a better suiting NotePad++ that has many different languages for members to code with. If you have any further questions, comments, concerns or anything I can add / change to this blog to give a better sense based on this topic |

(How To) Gain More Points™ |
---|
In Conclusion, I know some of this is common sense to know, but this blog was created to help those that may be confused and think that there is nothing free on fubar (or that think everything must be bought). Points are used primarily to gain levels and acquire fubucks so that one can do many other things (like create a lounge or buy a 1 day blast), but noone should ever think fubar is not a free site and that you must buy to do anything on this site. If you have any further questions, comments, concerns or anything I can add / change to this blog to give it a better sense based on this topic |

(How To) Profile Skin Breakdown™ |
---|
This blog is more of a continuation of the blog titled (How To) Create Profile Skins. If you don't already know Fubar is comprised of two fundamental elements called HTML ('Hyper Text Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Basically HTML shapes your profile and CSS sets the HTML in place. This blog will provide the following:
Overview Every members profile is the same (whether skinned or not). The only difference is each member has a different mindset to how they want their profile to look. Some member prefer a Fully Customized Skin while others might just choose a Simple Background. Each profile has 3 Main Columns (Left, Center & Right) that provides every members statistics (whether it be basic information to profile viewers). Below will list the three columns and what each of its CSS classes do to make sure it works properly. Instead of writing what each CSS class holds I will only add the necessary class, then at the bottom (In The Conclusion) I will write a functioning Profile Skin Code with each pertaining class. Column 1 Column 1 is comprised of Two Main Area's of focus. The first area is where the members Username, User Photo and the Members Profile Statistics are located (As Shown In Figure 1-1A). The second area holds most of the profiles links like Friend Requests, Abilities, etc... are placed (As Shown In Figure 1-1B).
Column 2 Column 2 is located on the center of the page, but recently it there has been a change and now the members Blings/Drinks are now located Figure 2-1A. Below the Blings/Drinks module is where Information About The Member is typically located(Photos, About Me & Interests)(As Shown In Figure 2-1B). Even further than that is where the members current Status Message and Profile Comments are located (As Shown In Figure 2-1C).
Column 3 Column 3 is the final column on the members Profile Page and it holds everything from the members Friends to the members Profile Viewers (As Shown In Figure 3-1B to Figure 3-1G). There is a box that I did show (Figure 3-1A that will not be on anyone elses profile but that of the members. It usually is just there to show how many Bling Credits you have and links to buy more or gift a Bling Pack to another member.
Conclusion In Conclusion, when each of the spread out sections are joined together they look like the three images below (Linked). Each profile can look a different way or have a different feel (dependent on what the member wants). Just remembr when you add a skin to your profile (whether You Create The Skin or Someone Else Creates The Skin) that skin can always be ripped and used on someone else's profile. Also remember if you don't want to create your own Profile Skin you can always Browse Skins and choose one that suits what you want, but remember what I just said in the last sentence..
