hey folks, the last few days have been crazy here at the cherry compound! yesterday we enabled some new options for everyones homepage: one which tries to make the site easier to use for newbies, and one tweaked for the more hardcore cherrytap members. you can find the options on your profile settings page under the Homepage Style drop down menu. of course, some of us like the old school home page, so we left that as an option as well (and it should be the default for all existing members). as much as i like to take credit for the design and work on the new homepage, i can't this time-- it was the brain child of: tenshiyoru

@ CherryTAP please go show her some love! she's also done a bunch of the other good looking/functioning stuff on the site but we can't let her head get too big now can we? so, i'll keep taking the credit for those.. haha! also, we've added horoscopes and amber alerts (US members only) to the homepages. on the profile settings page linked above, you can find options to turn them off if you don't like them. in the near future i'll target the amber alerts by state and call-out any late-breaking amber alerts.. but for now, it just displays a random 'active' one each time you view your homepage. stay tuned... the next month or so is going to be craaaazzyyyyy! we have some downrite lunacy planned for the site. :-) -mike
